Common Murre or Common Guillemot (Uria aalge) is a large auk. It is also known as the thin-billed murre in North America. It has a circumpolar distribution, occurring in low-Arctic and boreal waters in the North-Atlantic and North Pacific. It spends most of its time at sea, only coming to land to breed on rocky cliff shores or islands. Common murres have fast direct flight but are not very agile. They are more maneuverable underwater, typically diving to depths of 98–197 ft (30–60 meters) Common murres breed in colonies at high densities, nesting pairs may be in bodily contact with their neighbors. They make no nest, their single egg is incubated on a bare rock ledge on a cliff face.

The Horned Puffin is a pelagic seabirds of the family Alcidae. They are somewhat similar looking to penguins due to their coloration of black and white, but they are not closely related. Horned Puffins feed primarily on fish. They choose the rocky, isolated islands off the coast of Alaska, British Columbia and Siberia to breed, but spend much of the winter far out to sea. Rarely, some individuals will wander down the coast as far south as California. Because of it's colorful bill the Horned Puffin is occasionally called the 'sea parrot.' Information about the Tufted Puffin:

The Tufted Puffin - also called the Crested Puffin - is a pelagic seabird and and member of the Auk family. It is native to the oceans and coastlines of the North Pacific Ocean. It is one of three members of the Fratercula genus. They are about 15 inches tall (35 cm) The males being somewhat larger than the females. Like the other three puffin species, the Tufted Puffin feeds almost exclusively on fish, which are caught by diving from the surface. Their wings are smaller and are more adapted for for underwater swimming than flight. Occasionally squid or other cephalopods are eaten. They can carry a large amount of fish in their bills and bring them back to the nest to feed their young.
