Atlantic Puffin – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Atlantic Puffin:
The Atlantic Puffin is a seabird in the auk family. It is a pelagic species that feeds primarily by diving for fish, but also eats other sea creatures, such as squid and crustaceans. Its most obvious characteristic is its brightly colored beak during the breeding seasons. Also known as the Common Puffin and it is the only puffin species which is found in the Atlantic Ocean. Atlantic puffins, like other puffins, are very social birds. They make their nests in large groups called colonies, and feed together in flocks. Common Murre – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Common Murre:
Common Murre or Common Guillemot (Uria aalge) is a large auk. It is also known as the thin-billed murre in North America. It has a circumpolar distribution, occurring in low-Arctic and boreal waters in the North-Atlantic and North Pacific. It spends most of its time at sea, only coming to land to breed on rocky cliff shores or islands. Common murres have fast direct flight but are not very agile. They are more maneuverable underwater, typically diving to depths of 98–197 ft (30–60 meters) Common murres breed in colonies at high densities, nesting pairs may be in bodily contact with their neighbors. They make no nest, their single egg is incubated on a bare rock ledge on a cliff face. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Information about the Horned Puffins:
The Horned Puffin is a pelagic seabirds of the family Alcidae. They are somewhat similar looking to penguins due to their coloration of black and white, but they are not closely related. Horned Puffins feed primarily on fish. They choose the rocky, isolated islands off the coast of Alaska, British Columbia and Siberia to breed, but spend much of the winter far out to sea. Rarely, some individuals will wander down the coast as far south as California. Because of it's colorful bill the Horned Puffin is occasionally called the 'sea parrot.' Like other puffins the Horned Puffins are excellent swimmers. Puffins are any of three species of small alcids (auks) in the bird genus Fratercula with a brightly colored beak during the breeding season. These are pelagic seabirds that feed primarily by diving in the water. They breed in large colonies on coastal cliffs or offshore islands, nesting in crevices among rocks or in burrows in the soil. Two species, the tufted puffin and horned puffin, are found in the North Pacific Ocean, while the Atlantic puffin is found in the North Atlantic Ocean. This poster features fine art illustrations of all extant species of puffin.
