Marbled Salamander – Signed Fine Art Print

Information about the Marbled Salamander:

The Marbled Salamander is a species of mole salamander native to the damp woodlands, marshes, swamps and bogs of the eastern United States. They can be found in southern New England to northern Florida, and west to Illinois and Texas. These amphibians live in the damp leaf litter of the forest floor. They generally do not go into the water except to breed. The adult salamanders feed on small mollusks like worms, slugs, insects, centipedes and other small invertebrates. Marbled salamanders make good pets, and are often kept in captivity.
