Information about the Caribbean Reef Octopus:

The Caribbean Reef Octopus is a marine animal native to the warm tropical coral reefs, grassy and rocky sea beds of the Pacific Ocean. Its color range is incredibly large; it can change from crimson to green, and bumpy to smooth. It weighs around 3.3 lb or 1.5 kg. Like other octopus, they are mostly solitary animals and only interact with others when mating. When threatened this cephalopod will sucks up water then expels it quickly in the form of a jet to propel itself away. To further deter predators, it can eject ink to mask its escape.
