Cope’s Gray Treefrog – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Cope's Gray Treefrog:
The Cope's Gray Tree Frog is an arboreal amphibian found in the southeastern part of the United States. These tree frogs are virtually indistinguishable from Grey Tree Frog (Hyla versicolor) except when they are calling. Cope's Gray Tree Frog lives in woodland areas usually not far from a permanent water source such a lake, pond or stream. These small frogs are mostly arboreal,, usually only entering open areas to get to breeding ponds. They are usually a mottled gray, but can also be partially green in the coloration. They have bright orange-yellow patches on the hind legs, which are usually hidden until the frog leaps or is examined. The Latin name - chrysoscelis comes from Greek chrysos for gold and scelis for leg. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality: • Paper thickness: 10.3 mil • Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²) • Opacity: 94% Buy a Digital Download
