Galapagos Penguin – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Galapagos Penguin:
The Galapagos Penguin is a mostly aquatic bird native to some of the islands of the Galapagos Archipelago. It is the only penguin that lives north of the equator. They are generally found on Fernandina Island and the west coast of Isabela Island. They are a member of the banded penguins - which are share several of the same kind of psychical traits such as a band of black running around their bodies bordering their black dorsal coloring, black beaks with a small vertical white band, spots on their bellies, and a small patch of thinly feathered skin around their eyes that can be either white or pinkish. Because of the fragile ecosystem in which they live, along with the fact that there are only about 1,000 breed pair of the birds in the world the International Union for Conservation of Nature considers them endangered. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
