Baltimore Oriole – Signed Fine Art Print

Information about the Baltimore Oriole:

The Baltimore Oriole is a small migratory blackbird of the Icteridae family. The bird received it's distinctive name not having to do with the city of Baltimore, but rather the fact that the birds striking black and orange colors were reminiscent of the color of the coat of arms of Lord Baltimore. The range of this bird during the summer is over much of the eastern part of North America, and during the winter it heads south to Central America and into South America. This songbird is the state bird of Maryland. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality: • Paper thickness: 10.3 mil • Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²) • Opacity: 94% Buy a Digital Download
