California Mountain Kingsnake is a colubrid snake is native to the western US states of Oregon, and California. It is something of a coral snake "mimic" as it has a very similar pattern consisting of red, black and white on its body. The snake, however, is completely harmless to humans. The California Mountain Kingsnake, as the name suggest, resides almost entirely on the mountains of its native habitat.
