Margay – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Margay:
The Margay is a smaller member of the feline family. It is native to southern North America, down through much of Central America and most of South America. Like many other species of cat, the Margay is a solitary hunter. It prefers remote sections of very dense tropical and subtropical rainforests and cloudforests. It looks similar to the Ocelot, but the head is a little smaller with longer legs and tail. The cat weighs from 5.7 to 8.8 pounds (2.6 to 4 kilograms), with a body length of 19 to 31 inches (48 to 79 centimeters), and a tail length of 13 to 20 in (33 to 51 centimeters.) Because of unregulated hunting and habitat loss this cat is considered endangered by some environmental groups. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality: • Paper thickness: 10.3 mil • Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²) • Opacity: 94% Buy a Digital DownloadStock Art Drawing of a Margay
