Arabian Oryx – Signed Fine Art Print

Information about the Arabian Oryx:

The Arabian Oryx - also called the White Oryx - is a medium-sized antelope native to the gravel and hard sand deserts of the Middle East and the Arabian Peninsula. It is the smallest of the Oryx genus. It has been, however, extirpated from most of it's historical range and now lives only in small pockets, usually in protected areas. The Arabian Oryx is a social animal, usually living in small groups. They tend to graze on a variety of grasses, but will also eat the buds on trees, fruits, tubers, roots and herbs. While the animal is considered endangered by some conservation groups, aggressive programs have been instituted to preserve the species and save it from extinction. It has even been reintroduced into certain areas of Oman, Saudi Arabia, Israel, United Arab Emirates, and Jordan. It is the national animal of Jordan, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality: • Paper thickness: 10.3 mil • Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²) • Opacity: 94% Buy a Digital Download
