There are 90 species of marine angelfish. These colorful fish are native to the shallow reefs in the tropical regions of the Atlantic, Indian, and mostly western Pacific ocean. In the wild, marine angelfish feed on sponges, algae and small invertebrates. They are very popular fish to have in saltwater aquariums, and can live many years in captivity.
