Saltwater Crocodile – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Saltwater Crocodile:
The Saltwater crocodile is the largest of all living reptiles, larger than even the formidable Komodo Dragon . An adult male saltwater crocodile's weighs 1,300–2,200 pounds (600 to 1,000 kg) and length is normally 13–18 ft (4.1 to 5.5 metres), but mature males can be 20 feet long (6 meters) and weigh nearly 3,000 pounds (1,300) Females are much smaller than the males however. This reptile is found throughout much of Southeast Asia and the Pacific, and Australia. this species has a high tolerance for salinity (hence the name) and is found in brackish water around coastal areas and in rivers. However, it is also present in freshwater rivers, billabongs and swamps. The Saltwater Crocodile is at the top of the food chain in its environment, and feeds on fish, reptiles, wading birds, invertebrates and crustaceans. The will occasionally attack and kill humans, although this is very rare (averaging about one fatal attack per year)The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
