Maned Wolf – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Maned Wolf:
The Maned wolf is the largest member of the family Canidae found in South America. They are not closely related to any other living canid, and are not technically a wolf. Neither are they a fox, jackal, coyote or dog. Their habitat includes semi-open grassy areas with scattered trees and bushes. Unlike other wolves, Maned Wolfs do not form packs, and they generally hunt alone. They feed on small mammals, lizards, birds and fish. But nearly half of it's diet comes from vegetable matter such as sugarcane, fruit and tubers.
