The Giant Sea Bass - also called the Black Sea Bass - is a large fish native to area of the northern Pacific Ocean. They can reach sizes as large as 8 feet and weighing over 500 pounds. Due to overfishing the populations of Giant Sea Bass crashed in the 70s. Despite new protections put in place by the California State Department of Fish and Game the population has been slow to recover and the species is still considered critically endangered.The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
