The Brown-Throated Sloth (Bradypus variegatus) lives in the tropical rainforests of central and South America. They are one of the only mammals that cannot regulate their body temperatures, so they can only live in very warm climates. There two genus species of sloth divided into four species. Sloths have sensitive eyes and are blinded by bright sunlight.
