The order of Lagomorph includes two families – Leporidae (rabbits, hares, cottontails) and the Ochotonidae (pikas.) Many different species are found in North America, with 17 species found in the United States and Canada (18 if you include the domestic rabbit.) The smallest is the Pygmy Rabbit (Brachylagus idahoensis) at 7.9 inches (20 cm) and the largest is the White-Tailed Jackrabbit (Lepus townsendii) growing up to 26 inches (65 cm) long, The poster print features a fine art illustrations of all native species of lagomorph native to United States and Canada.
