Lynx of the World Poster
Lynx are solitary, medium-sized wild cats known for their large, snowshoe-like paws, long legs, prominent ear tufts, and short, black-tipped tails, adapted for snowy boreal forests in North America, Europe, and Asia, primarily preying on snowshoe hares, though larger species hunt deer; they are elusive, silent hunters facing threats like habitat loss, and can be identified by their distinct facial ruff and gray-brown coats with faint spots.
For more information on lynx of North America visit: National Geographic, Big Cat Rescue, and Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute as they offer guides, species lists, and identification tips.
The Lynx of the World poster features scientifically accurate illustrations of all extant species of lynx. The artistic design is complete with both common and scientific names. The poster is shipped in a sturdy 2″ mailing tube with plastic endcaps. The posters can be signed or customized by the artist upon request.
