Mammals of Mount Diablo State Park Poster

Mount Diablo is a prominent, 3,849-foot mountain located in Contra Costa County within the eastern San Francisco Bay Area. Serving as the centerpiece of the Mount Diablo State Park, it is world-renowned for its exceptionally vast panoramic views that extend over 100 miles on clear days. In the spring, the park blooms with over 400 species of wildflowers, including the endemic Mount Diablo fairy-lantern. In late summer and autumn, the park shifts focus as nature enthusiasts arrive to witness the annual tarantula mating season.
