There are thirteen species of otter in existence today. They’re found on every continent (except Antarctica and Australia.) The river otters are found various environments, but always a water sources, such as rivers, streams, lakes, ponds, and marshes. The sea otter inhabits the kelp forests in and around the Pacific coastline of North America.
