Information about the Red Panda:
The Red Panda - also called the Firefox, Red Cat-Bear or Lesser Panda - is native to the Himalayas in Bhutan as well as south-western China. They are a little bigger than a domestic house cat. They are critically endangered and it is believed there are less than 10,00 in the wild. The Red Panda is a herbivore and, like the Giant Panda, most of it's diet consists of bamboo shoots. Despite the name it is not closely related the the Panda however. The primary threats to red pandas are direct harvest from the wild, live or dead, competition with domestic livestock resulting in habitat degradation, and deforestation resulting in habitat loss or fragmentation.The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
