Grey Wolf Subspecies of the World Poster Print

There are thought to be around 30 subspecies of Grey Wolf or "Canis Lupis." Most are found in North America, with the rest in Eurasia and a single subspecies - the Dingo - residing in Australia (which taxonomic classification as a subspecies of the Grey Wolf is somewhat debatable.) Several more are extinct, with many teetering on the brink of extinction, most notable being the Iberian Wolf, which has a very small range and an estimated population of only a couple thousand.  This poster features eight different subspecies of grey wolf, along with a range map and information about each species. List of species: ARCTIC WOLF (Canis lupus arctos) DINGO (Canis lupus dingo) IBERIAN WOLF (Canis lupus signatus) INDIAN WOLF (Canis lupus pallipes) MEXICAN WOLF (Canis lupus baileyi) STEPPE WOLF (Canis lupus campestris) TIMBER OR EASTERN WOLF (Canis lupus lycaon) VANCOUVER COASTAL SEA WOLF (Canis lupus crassodon) FREE SHIPPING IN THE US
