Grey Wolf Subspecies of the World Poster Print

There are thought to be around 30 subspecies of Grey Wolf or “Canis Lupis.” Most are found in North America, with the rest in Eurasia and a single subspecies – the Dingo – residing in Australia (which taxonomic classification as a subspecies of the Grey Wolf is somewhat debatable.) Several more are extinct, with many teetering on the brink of extinction, most notable being the Iberian Wolf, which has a very small range and an estimated population of only a couple thousand.  This poster features eight different subspecies of grey wolf, along with a range map and information about each species.
