African Wild Dog Poster

The African painted dog – also called the African wild dog or Cape Hunting Dog – is a highly social and cooperative canine native to sub-Saharan Africa. The scientific name means “painted wolf,” referring to its uniquely patterned coat of black, brown, red, white, and yellow. These dogs are among Africa’s most endangered carnivores.
