Alpine Chamois – Men’s classic tee

Information about the Alpine Chamois:

The Alpine Chamois is a member of the Bovidae family. It is native to the mountainous regions in Europe, including the Carpathian Mountains of Romania, the European Alps, the Tatra Mountains, the Balkans, parts of Turkey, and the Caucasus. It had also been successfully introduced into New Zealand’s south island. They live at moderately high altitudes and are adapted to living in precipitous, rugged, rocky terrain. These ungulates are found at elevations of at least 11,800 ft (3,600 m). In Europe, Chamois spend their summers above the treeline in meadows. A fully grown chamois reaches a height of about 28–31 inches (70–80 cm) and measures 42–54 in (107–137 cm) long. Males are slightly heavier and larger than the females (66–130 lb) (30–60 kg). Females weigh 55–99 lb (25–45 kg ). Both males and females have short, horns which are mostly straight but hooked backwards near the tip. Males have thicker horns.
