Giant River Otter Poster

The Giant River Otter (Pteronura brasiliensis) is a carnivorous mammal native to the river, streams and flooded rainforests of South America. It is the longest member of the Mustelidae, or weasel family. It is a very large animal, reaching lengths of about 5.5 feet (1.7 meters) These mammals are very social animals, living in groups of three to eight individuals.
