Green Sea Turtle Poster

The Green Sea Turtle (Chelonia mydas) live in tropical waters all over the world. The only time they emerge from water is when they’re nesting. They are called Green Sea Turtles because of the color of the flesh. They grow to about 4 feet and weight over 400 pounds. Males are larger than females and have longer tails. Despite widespread laws designed to protect and preserve them, Green Sea turtles are listed as an endangered species.
