The Green Peafowl (Pavo muticus) is a mostly flightless bird native to forests of Southeast Asia. They forage in small groups on the forest floor eating fruits, nuts, insects, plants, small reptiles and amphibians. They’re one of the largest living Galliformes (an order of heavy-bodied ground-feeding birds) in terms of overall length and wingspan.
