Hamadryas baboons (Papio hamadryas) are a species of baboon that are native to the Horn of Africa, including regions of Ethiopia, Somalia, and parts of the Arabian Peninsula, especially the Arabian Peninsula’s coastal areas. They are one of the five species of baboons, and they are distinct for several reasons, including their social structure, physical appearance, and behavior.
