Koala Poster
The Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) is a herbivorous marsupial native only to a relatively small section of the continent of Australia. They are sometimes called “Koala Bears” but they are not closely related to bears, but more so to kangaroos and wombats. Koalas can sleep up to 18 hours a day.
For more information visit: World Wild Fund Australia, Australia Koala Foundation, and National Geographic Kids as they offer guides, species lists, and identification tips.
