The Marine Iguana (Amblyrhynchus cristatus) is endemic to the Galapagos Islands and are the only marine lizard species in the world. They can can dive more than 65 feet (20 m) underwater. Typically they only spend a few minutes underwater, but can be submerged up to 30 minutes at a time.
