The Peacock Mantis Shrimp (Odontodactylus scyllarus) is not actually a shrimp, but rather a marine crustacean and the members of the order Stomatopoda. They are native to the warm waters of the Indo-Pacific, generally found close to reefs in sand and rubble areas with several burrows to hide in.
