Wild Cats of Africa Poster
Africa is home to ten distinct wild cat species, categorized into three “big cats” (lion, leopard, cheetah) and seven smaller species, including the caracal, serval, African wildcat, black-footed cat, African golden cat, sand cat, and jungle cat. These range from the Sahara Desert to savannahs and forests, with significant populations of big cats in East and Southern Africa.
