The International Ornithological Congress (IOC) recognizes 236 species of woodpeckers which make up the family Picidae. They are distributed among 36 genera, six of which have only one species. In North America 16 species are found. This poster features fine art illustrations of various species of North American woodpecker.

The unframed print is 10″ x 12″ (25.4cm x 30.5cm) and printed on sturdy, water color block style paper. Print is signed on the back, but can be signed on the front by the artist on request.
