Description
Georgia is home to over 160 butterfly species, including the state butterfly, the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail. Other notable types are buckeye, fritillary, hairsteaks, skippers and longwings. These insects are crucial pollinators and can be found statewide in fields, gardens, and roadsides.
