Artist’s notes:
The Chilean Rose Tarantula was a tricky drawing because of the lighting that really brought out the color in the hair. Generally, the actual pinkish-red of the hair isn’t quite so pronounced. But the angle of the light really made the color jump out and the drawing reflected this. The drawing is based on a photo by Dominic Niebauer.
