Artist’s notes:

The Proboscis Monkey was completed on 6.20.2011. I realized I have greatly neglected our primate relatives. Before this drawing, I had only completed a handful of apes and monkeys. I realize the selection of this rare Old World monkey might seem a little odd and obscure, but when I get it into my head that this is the animal I want to draw, there’s little chance I’m going to change my mind.
