Description

Fine art illustration of an Atlas Moth (Attacus atlas.) The illustration is available in black and white or color.

Artist’s notes:

The Atlas Moth was completed on 11/11/2009. While the shading and textures were difficult to render, this was a really fun subject to draw. The patterns of the larger moths have always fascinated me, which is one reason I really wanted to illustrate the Atlas Moth. The illustration is based on a photo by A.J. Havercamp.
