Description

Fine art illustration of an East African Oryx (Oryx beisa.) The illustration is available in black and white or color.

Artist’s notes:

The East African Oryx was completed on 12.8.2015. Well, actually a large part of the drawing – the inking and coloring – was done several years ago. Until I realized I had mislabeled this East African Oryx as a Gemsbok, not understanding that there are other species of Oryx. My friend Andrew Smith set me straight! The drawing is based on a photo I took at the Wildlife World Zoo in Arizona.
