Eastern Meadowlark – Signed Fine Art Print
$19.95 – $27.95
Information about the Eastern Meadowlark:
The Eastern Meadowlark is a short ground-dwelling bird about 8.5 inches long. This songbird is not actually a lark (family Alaudidae) but rather a member of the family Icteridae. It has a sharp, pointy beak and is very similar looking to the Western Meadowlark. In areas where the two birds overlap it is easiest to identify each bird by it’s distinctive call. This is one of the most familiar birds of American farmlands and often delivers its song from a conspicuous perch
The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
• Paper thickness: 10.3 mil
• Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²)
• Opacity: 94%

Artist’s notes:
The Eastern Meadowlark was completed on 12.12.09. While hiking with friends we saw several Meadowlarks in the grassy hills and meadows of the park. It inspired me to create this drawing (even though we were seeing the Western variety.) The drawing is based on a photo by Frank Shufelt.
