Fine art illustration of an Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus.) The illustration is available in black and white or color.
Artist’s notes:
The Egyptian Vulture was completed on 5.10.2014. I believe that this class of birds – the vultures – are sorely neglected in the world of wildlife art. They are generally regarded as vile and ugly, due to the usual task they are engaged in – cleaning up carrion. But since I’ve been studying them, I have come around to think of them as interesting and handsome birds. The drawing is based on a photo by Arjan Haverkamp and was used with his permission.
