Artist’s notes:
The Guianan Cock-of-the-Rock was completed on 5.9.2013. This remarkable looking bird is part of a ongoing project, whereas a country is selected by those on my Facebook page, and a gallery of iconic animals native to that region is put together and posted. When I “discovered” the Guianan Cock-of-the-Rock I knew it had to be part of the gallery dedicated to Guyana. The drawing is based on a photo by Joao Quental
