Owls of the US and Canada Poster

North America is home to 19 species of owls, including the widely recognized Great Horned Owl, the American Barn Owl, and the tiny 5-inch Elf Owl. These raptors are mostly nocturnal, possessing specialized feathers for silent flight and exceptional hearing for hunting rodents, insects, and small mammals. They inhabit diverse environments ranging from Arctic tundra to deserts and suburban parks.
