Description
There are three types of Bristlecone Pine trees: Rocky Mountain, Western and Foxtail. These trees are remarkable for many reasons, including how old they are – some are over 4,000 years old – as well as how they’re able to live in one of the most dry and harsh environments on earth. The poster, done in the art nouveau style, celebrates the unique beauty of these amazing trees. The image features an illustration of the entire tree, along with an inset of the actual cones.
The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
• Paper thickness: 10.3 mil
• Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²)
• Opacity: 94%

Information about the Baird's Tapir:
The Baird's Tapir is one of four extant species of tapir on earth, and the largest of the three species in Latin America. It is named for the noted American naturalist Spencer Fullerton Baird, who was in Mexico in 1843 and observed them. However, the animal was in fact first described by another American naturalist W.T. White. The Baird's Tapir is found in the dense tropical jungles of Central America. They are herbivores, feeding mostly on fruit, berries, and leaves, which they hunt for and grab using their prehensile snout. All four species of tapir are considered endangered or vulnerable. Information about the Dusky-Footed Woodrat:
The Dusky-Footed Woodrat is a nocturnal mammal native to the forested areas of Mexico and California. They are sometimes called "packrats" or "trade rats." The Woodrat builds large, doomed dens that can be as large as several feet. These large protective dens usually discourage potential predators. While they are solitary animals, except when breeding, they will live in communities where there are several dens close to one another. It's been recorded that Dusky-footed woodrats of California will selectively place California bay leaves (Umbellularia) around the edges of their nest within their stickhouse to control levels of parasites such as fleas. Information about the Margay:
The Margay is a smaller member of the feline family. It is native to southern North America, down through much of Central America and most of South America. Like many other species of cat, the Margay is a solitary hunter. It prefers remote sections of very dense tropical and subtropical rainforests and cloudforests. It looks similar to the Ocelot, but the head is a little smaller with longer legs and tail. The cat weighs from 5.7 to 8.8 pounds (2.6 to 4 kilograms), with a body length of 19 to 31 inches (48 to 79 centimeters), and a tail length of 13 to 20 in (33 to 51 centimeters.) Because of unregulated hunting and habitat loss this cat is considered endangered by some environmental groups. Information about the Ribbon Seal:
The Ribbon Seal is a medium-sized pinniped from the true seal family (Phocidae). A seasonally ice-bound species, it is found in the Arctic and Subarctic regions of the North Pacific Ocean, notably in the Bering Sea and Sea of Okhotsk. It is distinguished by its striking coloration, with two wide white strips and two circles against dark brown or black fur. It is the only living species in the genus Histriophoca. The ribbon seal lives in the Arctic parts of the Pacific Ocean. During winter and spring, it hauls out on pack ice to breed, molt, and give birth. During this time, it is found at the ice front in the Bering and Okhotsk Seas. During the summer and autumn, the ribbon seal lives in open water, though some move north as the ice recedes with warmer temperatures. Little is known about its habit during this time, as it is so far from land and human observation. The ribbon seal almost never comes to land. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
