The Red-Eyed Tree Frog (Agalychnis callidryas) inhabit tropical areas where they can be found in the lowland rainforests particularly in areas close to streams and rivers. The frogs are excellent climbers and have suction-cup toes that help them attach themselves to the underside of leaves. The frog is well known for their huge, bright red eyes which are a possible adaption to nocturnality or defensive strategy.
