Sharks of the World Poster

Sharks are ancient, cartilaginous fish with over 500 species, known for their sandpaper-like skin (dermal denticles), keen senses and multiple rows of replaceable teeth. Sharks have existed for millions of years and occupying diverse ocean habitats, though many species now face threats from human activities like overfishing. They are vital to marine ecosystems by controlling prey populations.
