Artist’s notes:

The White-Fronted Amazon Parrot was completed on 7.12.2013. A friend of mine contacted me asking if I would draw a picture of this bird, as he had made friends with the animal at a local zoo – such good friends with “Rieka” and she would recognize him when he visited. Alas, the bird passed on, but my friend still very much cared for his friend and missed her. He originally asked if he could commission me to draw it, but as it was a species I might draw anyway I did the drawing for him free of charge.
