Golden Eagle – Signed Fine Art Print
$19.95 – $27.95
Information about the Golden Eagle:
Golden Eagles are birds of prey that belong to the family Accipitridae and the genus Aquila. The are among the largest eagles on earth with a wingspan averaging over seven feet. They are distributed widely over the Northern Hemisphere. They are large enough to attack prey as large as young deer, and will sometime prey on livestock such as sheep and goats. The Golden Eagle is gone from much of it’s historical range, but efforts are being made to reintroduce the species in hopes it will reestablish itself.
The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
• Paper thickness: 10.3 mil
• Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²)
• Opacity: 94%
Fine art illustration of a Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos.) The illustration is available in black and white or color.
Artist’s notes:
The Golden Eagle was drawn back in 2003 and the color added in 2007. I have seen these massive birds of prey rarely in California – usually in pretty remote places. The beauty of the wing pattern is one of the reasons I choose to draw the Golden Eagle from the back. It really is gorgeous.
