Artist’s notes:
Ever since I saw a Leopard Shark at the Monterey Bay Aquarium I’ve wanted to draw one. I’ve studied them at the California Academy of Sciences too, in their large and impressive kelp forest tank. While not colorful, the leopard spot like pattern is beautiful. The drawing was based on a photo by Nordin Rahhali. UPDATE: during a dive to the Channel Islands (off the coast of California near the town of Santa Barbara)
