Butterflies are always fun to draw. The swallowtail’s coloration is lovely and the deep blue fading into yellow is particularly beautiful. This drawing was originally a Valentine’s Day gift in 2005. Color was added in 2007. If I recall correctly, this was the first butterfly I had illustrated.
