Gray Whale (Eschrichtius robustus) is a large, mottled gray baleen whales known for their epic migrations. These cetaceans have some unique features like a dorsal hump and knuckle like crenulations instead of a dorsal fin. They are medium-sized whales, weighing up to 40 tons. Generally they can live about 50-80 years. Gray whales are unique bottom-feeders that primarily eat tiny crustaceans like amphipods, mysids, and isopods, along with worms and other small invertebrates.
