Frogs are cold-blooded vertebrates with semi-permeable skin. There are over 7,000 species in existence today. These amphibians are found in varied environments in all continents except for Antarctica. Frogs have moist skin, protruding eyes and powerful hind legs for jumping. They metamorphosis from eggs, to aquatic tadpoles then to semi-aquatic/terrestrial adults.
